Trabucco specialises in paperweights which combine lampwork flowers
and fruit with cold working techniques — engraving, cutting
and polishing — all done in the Trabucco Studio. He describes
his work as "inspired by nature, capturing the beauty and motion
of the subject and freezing a moment in time." The beautiful paperweight
shown here features daisy and berries against a lace background,
and measures 3-1/4" in diameter. Victor will be teaching at The
Studio in the Corning Museum of Glass during 2015.
Trabucco Studio has recently been expanding into architectural installations
that are over 25 feet long. In June Victor will be 65 and he is
"still look forward to the challenges of glass." You can read more
